Tay Hung Yong has been working as a physiotherapist since 2001. He first completed his undergrad training at Nanyang Polytechnic, and then further his studies at University of Sydney and Imperial College London.
Hung Yong spent 12 years at National University Hospital Singapore and Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF). He managed the cardiac rehabilitation programme, where he cared for patients who suffered from heart conditions and other chronic diseases. He also led his team to organise Singapore Prevention and Cardiac Rehabilitation Syndrome (SPCRS) for 3 years and helped in publishing SHF's first paper on cardiac rehabilitation in 2016.
His area of interest lie in exercise therapy and preventive cardiology. He has more than 15 years of experience in conducting primary prevention and cardiac rehabilitation programme.
